Hi Friends today is my last activity for Surmmer learning Journey. I had lots of fun and I also learned new things.For today I'm not going to do any facts but I have to do a activity that SLJ told me to do is to tell us Which activity you enjoyed the most,Which activity you enjoyed the least,Three things that you learned while completing the programme, What changes/improvements you would make to the programme for next year. Here is mine.

1.My favourite activity was the Taxt Graphic.

2.My least activity was the two rivalries.

3. I learn about famous people, about the word and learning how to do the activities.

En Pointe

Hi Guys today I'm going to talk about a world famous ballerina, Misty Copeland. Misty Copeland isn’t like most other ballerinas. She started ballet quite late - at 13 years old. This didn’t slow her down. She won many competitions. In 2015, she became the first African Amercian principal (lead) dancer of the Amercian Ballet Theatre. Now I'm going to do some facts about Misty Copeland.

1. She was born in 10 Sep, 1982.

2. Her full name is Misty Copeland.

3. She also made 6 books.

DANCING QUEENS

Hi Friends today I'm going to talk about 

Parri$ Goebel. Parri$  is a famous dancer and choreographer from Auckland, New Zealand. Parri$ started The Palace Dance Studio. She worked as a choreographer for singers like Justin Beiber, Jennifer Lopez, and Rihanna. In 2019, Parri$ and her dance crew, The Royal Family, won the World Hip Hop Dance Championship. Now I'm going to do some facts about Parri$.

1.Parri$ was born in 29 Out,1991.

2.She's from Samoan/Chinese/Scottish.

3.Her really name is Parris Goebel.

Those are some facts about Parri$.Now I'm going to do something that the SLJ told me to do is to  write a review of The Royal Family performance. Please talk about the dance, dancers, costumes, and the music. What did you like? What didn’t you like as much? What do you think could have been improved? Here is mine.

I really like their dance moves.I also like the dancer's because they use little bit of gymnastics.I really like the girls costumes because It shows the highlight coloure. I didn't like the boys costumes that much, because it dosent show pop of colours.I like the beating music.I didn't like the back and front dance move bacuse they did lot's of times.They should improve different dancing move. overall that was a really good dance.

Hi Guys today I'm going to talk about Banksy.Banksy is a street artist from England. He is very private and secretive. In fact, almost no one knows who he really is - he always creates his art in secret! Street art, or graffiti art, is all around us. Sometimes the art tells a story, sometimes it makes a building look more interesting, and sometimes it makes us think hard.Now I'm going to do some facts about Banksy.

1. Banksy was born in 1974.

2. He claims his work is inspired by 3D a member of Massive Attack music band.

3.He painted 20 arts.

Hi Friends today I'm going to talk about Fatu Feu’u.Fatu Feu’u is a Samoan artist who lives in Aotearoa/New Zealand. His paintings are inspired by tapa cloth (siapo) patterns from Samoa, as well as tatau (tattoo), weaving, carving, and mask designs. Many Pacific Islands have their own versions of tapa cloth. In Tonga it is called the ngatu, in Fiji - the masi, in Niue - the hiapo, in the Cook Islands - the tapa, and in Hawaii - the kapa. Now Im goingg to do some facts about Fatu Feu’u.

1. Fatu Feu’u was born in 1946.

2.He also made 4 books.

ARTY DESIGNERS

Hi Friends today Im going to talk about 

Coco Chanel. Coco Chanel was a French fashion designer from the early 1900s. She was very influential because she designed clothes for women that were beautiful, but also comfortable. She designed trousers (pants), looser tops, and used a lot of black and white fabric.

Twenty-Seven Names is a New Zealand fashion label. The designers are Rachel Easting and Anjali Burnett. Their brand name comes from 27 people who helped to support their business when they started it. Sorry I'm not going to do some facts about Coco Chanel.

Now I'm going to do something that the SLJ told me to do is to tell us whether you think Twenty-Seven Names is a good brand name. Looking at their clothing brand, is this a good name, or do you have a better idea for them? Here is mine.

I think the 27 name is good name because it's a interesting and fashionable name. That's why I think 27 name is good.

Hi Guys today Im going to talk about Julian Dennison. Julian Dennison is a very funny guy! He is from Lower Hutt, near Wellington.He is only 17 years old but he has already starred in a number of movies and TV commercials. You may have seen him on Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Deadpool, or in the Lynx ads.Julian is not only a funny actor. He recently joined up with World Vision to be a 40 Hour Famine Ambassador. He traveled with World Vision to Uganda to meet some of the refugees from South Sudan who are living there.Now I'm going to do some facts about Julian Dennison.

Hi Friends today I'm going to talk about Lupita Nyong’o.Lupita Nyong’o is a Mexican-Kenyan actress. She has starred in a number of films including Black Panther. She won an Oscar for her role in 12 Days a Slave. She was the first ever Kenyan and/or Mexican woman to win the award.Over the past few years Lupita has continued to act, she has earned a master’s degree from Yale University and has written a children’s book called Sulwe. She has also written and produced her own movies. Now I'm going to do some facts about Lupita Nyong’o.

Some people have said that she is one of the most influential women in the world. Oprah believes in the power of education. Hi Friends today I'm going to talk about Jessica Mauboy and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. Jessica Mauboy is an Aboriginal Australian singer. She was runner-up in the 2006 Australian Idol, and has gone on to record a number of very successful songs.Dame Kiri Te Kanawa is a Māori opera singer from Aotearoa, New Zealand. She became one of the best sopranos (a female singer with a high voice) in the world.Now I'm going to do some facts about Jessica Mauboy and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. 

1. Jessica Mauboy was born in 4 Aug in 1989.

2. Dame Kiri Te Kanawa was born in 6 March in 1944.

3. Both of these singers are role models.

Hi Guys today I'm going to talk about BTS boy band.BTS, or Bangtan Boys, is a seven member boy band from South Korea. They have topped the music charts in the United States of America and around the world. They are a K-Pop group (Korean Pop) and most of their songs are sung in Korean. BTS make great music videos and they have amazing choreography (dance routines).Sorry I'm not going to do some facts about BTS boy band.

Hi Friends today I'm going to talk about Anna Frank. Anna Frank lived in Germany in the 1930s This was the time of World War One. Her family was Jewish and they were forced to hide because the German politicians (Nazis) did not like Jewish people. Anne and her family hid in one small room for two years. Anne kept a diary. At the end of the war, Anne’s dad made it into a book.Now I'm going to do some facts about Anna Frank.

1. Anna Frank was born in 12 June in 1929.

2. Anna Frank full name is Annelies Marie Frank.

3. Anna's diary was a 13th birthday present.

Mae Jemison

Hi Guys today I'm going to talk about Mae Jemison. Mae Jemison moved to Chicago at age three. Her brother and sisters are Charlie, Dorothy, Ada, and Charles Jemison. She graduated high school at the age of 16. She studied at Stanford University on a scholarship. There she got a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering in 1977. As she had been in high school, Jemison was very involved in extracurricular activities at Stanford. These included dance and theater productions. She was also the head of the Black Student union. Now I'm going to do some facts about Mae Jemison.

1.Mae Jemison was born in October 17, 1956.

2.Mae Jemison faced many roadblocks to her dreams of pursuing science.

3. Mae Jemison is a trained dancer -- she built a dance studio in her home and even brought a poster from her dance school on her space mission.

Caine’s Arcade

Hi Guys today I'm going to talk about Caine Monroy. Cain Monroy used to spend his summer holidays at his dad's work- an auto parts store. While his dad was working, he built and arcade all by himself out of cardboard boxes and things that he found lying around the shop. One of his dad's customers was interested in Caine's arcade. The customer made a movie about it and invited thousands of people to come and see the arcade. Caine bacame famous. Now I'm going to do some facts about Cain Monroy.

1.Caine Monroy was born in 2002.

2. Caine was 9 years old when he created his arcade.

3. Caine released his film in 2012 and the name of the film is Caine's Arcade.

CREATIVITY +

Hi Friends today I'm going to talk about 

Ministry of Inspiration. Ministry of Inspiration are aim is to get kids thinking creatively in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, maths and society (STEAMS).The Ministry of Inspiration hosts many cool activities and events, including an Aquabot competition. Aquabots are underwater robots. Sorry I'm not going to do facts about Ministry of Inspiration.

Now I'm going to do something that the SLJ told me to do is to tell us whether you would like to join an Underwater Robotics team at your school. Why/why not? Here is mine.

I would like to visit Pasifika Aquabots competition at my school because it looks kind of fun. Also you can control the robot with a string and then you got to catch things in the pool. That why I like to join the Pasifika Aquabots competition.
