Top Secret Street Art
Hi Guys today I'm going to talk about Banksy.Banksy is a street artist from England. He is very private and secretive. In fact, almost no one knows who he really is - he always creates his art in secret! Street art, or graffiti art, is all around us. Sometimes the art tells a story, sometimes it makes a building look more interesting, and sometimes it makes us think hard. Now I'm going to do some facts about Banksy.
1. Banksy was born in 1974.
2. He claims his work is inspired by 3D a member of Massive Attack music band.
3.He painted 20 arts.
Those are some facts about Banksy. Now I'm going to do something that the SLJ told me to do is to post screenshots of the two pieces of art that you have chosen. Tell us about the similarities and differences that you see. Here is mine.
They both are people and they both are in a box. They also have bright colour and black paint on thir hair and they have words on their box.
They both don't have same colours and their is a boy and a girl. They both don't have the same shape box.
Thank you for reading my blog post.
Bye by Izumi.
Hello Izumi,
ReplyDeleteNice Job! I really liked this blog post. Firstly, you added lots of facts. Secondly, you added the pictures and chose the unique ones. You also made a very extraordinary description about both of them and made amazing similarities. The picture of Muhammad Ali looks kind of the picture on Week 1 Day 4 Activity 2. Have you recognised this? Maybe next time you could more information about why you chose these pictures. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing blog post!

Ahiahi Mārie Izumi,
ReplyDeleteWell done! You have done an excellent job comparing some street art from the beautiful city of Christchurch. I think these two pieces are quite unique because they are both drawn on electricity boxes, which must’ve been really difficult to do, especially compared to a wall because it would dry much differently.
I love how much detail Banksy puts in to his art work, all his pieces are so detailed and so well drawn. Because of that I have a few of his pieces displayed in my classroom. My favourite piece out of these two would have to be Mohammed Ali one, I love how centred he is and then how random the background is, with a range of colours splashed everywhere.
What is your favourite out of the two street art that you have chosen for this activity?
