Leading by Example
Hi Friends today I'm going to talk about Mother Teresa and Princess Diana. Mother Teresa was born in Eastern Europe. When she was young, she decided that she wanted to be a missionary. She moved to India where she worked hard and cared for those who needed her the most. Diana was a real-life princess. As she travelled the world, she helped everyone to see that all people, including those affected by illness and disease, needed love and respect. Now I'm going to do some facts about Mother Teresa and Princess Diana.
1. Princess Diana was born in 1 July in 1961.
2. Mother Teresa was born in 26 Aug 1910.
3. Princess Diana and Mother Teresa both led by example with acts of kindness towards others.
Those are some facts about Princess Diana and Mother Theresa. Now I'm going to do something that the SLJ told me to do is to follow in their footsteps and perform a random act of kindness. On your blog, describe your random act of kindness. What did you do? How did it make you feel? How did the other person feel? Here is mine.

Kia Ora Izumi,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for finishing the Summer Learning Journey! It is a big accomplishment, it shows you have been working hard throughout your summer holidays to learn about changemakers. What was your favourite activity that you have done? One of my favourite activities is reading the movie plots that SLJ learners have written.
What an awesome act of kindness! What charity/ organisation / cause are you fundraising for? Can you think of some other ways you can raise money? You could make something and sell it and you can donate the profits to a charity. An example of this is a bake sale or you could wash cars in return for people donating.
Keep up the great work!
Blog ya later,
Dani
