Surmmer Learning Journey
Jean Batten
Hi guys today I'm going to talk about Jean Batten. She is the famous aviator pilot. She was the first person to fly solo on her own from England from New Zealand Wow. Now I'm going to do some facts.
1. Jean Batten was born in Rotorun, New Zealand in 1909.
2. She is 73 years old.
3. In 1936 it was her first day to pilot.
Those are the facts I Know from Jean Batten. Now I'm going to do something that SLJ told me to do. I have to do is Earhart Venn Diagram. If you want to see mine click what it's said the link.

ReplyDeleteKia ora Izumi, I hope you’re having a great day!
I can see that you’ve made a post for the aviator activity, that is so awesome! However, you haven’t granted the Summer Learning Journey access to open the document so I can’t comment on it until access has been granted. Once I can open it, I can comment on it and give you the points :)
Ka pai for blogging! Have a great rest of your day!
Eliza :)

ReplyDeleteMōrena Izumi,
Thanks for granting us access - make sure you do this for all of your activities :)
Ka pai for doing week one, day two, activity one! What was your favourite part about doing this activity? Your venn diagram is really clear which made it easy to read and I enjoyed reading the facts about Jean Batten or Amelia Earhart - they were both pretty amazing women weren’t they!? Did you know that Jean would take a silk dress with her on her flights, so that she could look beautiful wherever she landed! I reckon that’s pretty cool :)
Have you been on a plane before? If you have, where did you go? Do you think you’d like to fly a plane if you had the chance to?
Next time you post, you can add some images if you want! This will make your blog more eye-catching and will bring more people to your blog. Remember to attribute the image though :)
Have a fantastic day and thanks for posting,
Eliza :)
