Surmmer Learning Journey ( Week 2 day 3 A2)

The Right to an Education

Hi Friends to day I'm going to talk about Malala Yousafzai. Malala Yousafzai is from Pakistan. In 2012, she was shot at when traveling home from school. Back then, girls living in Pakistan were not allowed to go to school. Many people believe that Malala was attacked because she did not agree with this idea.Once Malala got better, she fought for the rights of all women and girls to be able to go to school. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize - the youngest person to ever receive this prize. Now I'm going to do some facts about Malala Yousafzai.

1. She is a Muslim.

2. Malala Yousafzai was born in 12 July in 1997.

3. Malala was named after a famous Afghani poet and warrior named Malalai of Maiwand.
Those were the facts I know about Malala Yousafzai. Now I'm going to do something from the SLJ they told me to do is to write a short story that you wish. Here is my story.

first day being a surgeon.

Tomorrow is my first day being a surgeon. I'm kind of nervous to be a surgery, Oh well I wiil try my best. The Next Day, I came to the Hospital and then a lady came to me and that lady said hi to me and I said hi to her. She told me that you are the newest surgery and I said yes I'm the newest surgery. The lady said that you can got to the doctor so you Know what to do. So I said ok and they I let and then I saw doctor. The doctor said hi to me and then I said hi to her. When the doctor gave me the tools I need I ask the doctor do I have a patient and then the doctor said YES and I felt nervous again. So I went to the patient he said that his not feeling well with his heart  so I ask the nurse If I can have the report they said yes so I got them and then I got to work and then I left him along and I so him next day he felt happy and then I ask his why are you happy then the patient said I feeling better so I felt happy as well.

That was my story.

  1. Mālō e lelei Izumi,

Thanks for that creative short story about being a surgeon! I enjoyed reading it. Being a surgeon would be really nerve-wracking the first couple of times but it would be such a rewarding job too! Where did you get your inspiration from? Would you actually like to be a surgeon when you’re older?

    Thanks for blogging!
    Eliza :)
